Read MoreI highly recommend Dungeon Crawler Carl for anyone who enjoys clever sci-fi and fantasy-style stories based on role-playing game mechanics. It has violence, humor, and suspense, and was a breeze to read through. I found myself finding it hard to put it down. Check it out!
Read MoreThe Final Empire is ruled by an immortal dictator known as The Lord Ruler. Before the Lord Ruler took power centuries before the events of this book the continent was ruled by a multitude of rulers who were constantly at war and as they fought each other the realm was in danger of being destroyed by a mysterious force known as the deepness. We don't fully understand what the deepness was but the world needed a hero to save it from impending doom. Somehow the Lord Ruler gained supernatural powers that made him invincible and over time brought all people together under one empire, The Final Empire, or is it?
Read MoreTender is the Flesh is not for the easily disturbed as it paints graphic depictions of how humans could be treated if powerful people wanted it to be different. If powerful people wanted to make meat out of humans. Meat with names.
Read MoreHe's out for justice, if he can have it. He learns the hard way that things don't always go as planned and sometimes the one seeking justice can end up on the wrong side of a noose but through it all he doesn't lose his way. He stays true blue and gains the respect of good men. He is a true Western hero. Guns of the Vigilantes is a fun and exciting Western tale with unexpected turns and real grit.
I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys westerns and wants an easy read.
Read MoreThe point of this review is to convey my desire for you to read the book even if you have seen the show. If you don’t want to read the book then the Audible version is excellent. It is read by a man named Roy Dotrice and he does a great job of voicing the characters and makes the entire experience highly engaging. I ingest my books mostly via the paper form but listening to a book, when it is read well, can be an equally enthralling experience. I recommend A Game of Thrones to anyone who loves medieval drama and suspenseful intrigue.
