Book Review: Beans, Bourbon, and Blood by William W. Johnstone

Beans, Bourbon, and Blood is a fun and easy book to read. It offers a classic Western tale with all the tropes one expects while keeping it interesting and exciting. Luke and Mac represent the good guys who can't stand by and watch innocent people suffer. They aren't perfect, but they fight for what's right. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a classic western that has memorable characters and plenty of action.

Book Review: Guns of the Vigilantes by William W. Johnstone & J.A. Johnstone

He's out for justice, if he can have it. He learns the hard way that things don't always go as planned and sometimes the one seeking justice can end up on the wrong side of a noose but through it all he doesn't lose his way. He stays true blue and gains the respect of good men. He is a true Western hero. Guns of the Vigilantes is a fun and exciting Western tale with unexpected turns and real grit.

I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys westerns and wants an easy read.

I highly recommend The Gunslinger to anyone who enjoys a book that combines many genres in a way that is deftly maneuvered.
