Book Review: Tuf Voyaging by George R.R. Martin

October 04, 2023 by Joe Gray in Book Review, Fiction, Sci-Fi, Reviews

Tuf Voyaging is an excellent sci-fi novel that employs scientific concepts and clever problem-solving to propel its main character through tumultuous terrain. It is on par with my other favorite sci-fi book Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir and that is saying a lot. Project Hail Mary is amazing and I highly recommend that to you as well. If you like sci-fi, Tuf Voyaging by George R.R. Martin is a must-read!

Book Review: Please Haunt Me by Channing Cornwall

June 08, 2023 by Joe Gray in Book Review, Fiction, Horror, Reviews, Short Stories

I highly recommend Please Haunt Me to anyone who wants to put their mind through a minefield of mentally marking mayhem directed by a harbinger of horrific and horrible acts that leave you questioning your own reality. Or if you just like the horror genre and like the idea of the scary shit not going on too long because they are short stories.

Book Review: Born of Hatred by Steve McHugh

May 29, 2023 by Joe Gray in Book Review

Steve McHugh's writing is down-to-earth and accessible in a way that makes for a smooth and enjoyable reading experience. The world he has created is fun and dynamic. I recommend this book on its own but especially as a continuation of the first book, Crimes Against Magic, and I'm excited to continue the series further. If you liked Crimes Against Magic or like supernatural fantasy action you will enjoy Born of Hatred.
