Best Photos of 2023
2023 was an incredibly difficult year for me. As my career was at its peak financially my mental health was at its most tenuous. The anxiety I experienced at my previous job was so extreme that it led me to completely rethink my life and I am working to change how I make money or at least how much stress I’m willing to take on to make money working for others. It’s been very confusing but I was able to get out of that job and take a few photos along the way. The following are my favorite photos of the year and I hope you enjoy viewing them.
Most of these photos were taken using the Canon 80D with a variety of lenses. I use the Canon 100mm Macro Lens the most along with the Sigma 150-300mm Contemporary Lens, Sigma 14-24 f2.8, Canon 24mm Pancake, and I used my new Pixel 7a for the sunset shot at the beginning. I use a flash sometimes and extension tubes as well. I love hiking and looking for interesting wildlife to capture.
